But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh. (Judges 3:16)
Cubit.
The Hebrew word here used for “cubit” is found nowhere else in the OT. It is therefore difficult to determine how long this unit of measure was. From what follows, we may conclude that it was about a foot long.
