Deuteronomy 4:44
And this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel: (Deuteronomy 4:44)
Set before.
 Literally, “to place,” “to lay,” here with the idea of placing the law before their eyes (see Ex. 19:7, where it is rendered “laid”).
The law.
The torah, meaning God’s instructions in general, inclusive of the Ten Commandments.
