Deuteronomy 24:14
Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates: (Deuteronomy 24:14)
Strangers.
No difference was to be made between the natural Jew and the proselyte (Lev. 19:34).
An hired servant.
Oppress.
Literally, “defraud.” The same Hebrew word is used in Lev. 19:13; 1 Sam. 12:3, 4; Lev. 6:2, 4.
