1 Kings 22:18
And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil? (1 Kings 22:18)
Did I not tell thee?
Yes, he had (v. 8 ), and now again Micaiah’s message was one of evil results to come to both king and people. When a course is evil, a true prophet can only describe it as evil. What was needed was not a change of message on the part of the prophet, but a change of course on the part of the king.
