Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore. (Psalm 18:50)
In the Hebrew the word is plural, referring to the many acts of salvation listed in the psalm.
The king chosen of God to rule over Israel, as was David, God’s anointed (see on
Ps. 2:2).
