And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the Lord made by fire. (Leviticus 2:3)
The cereal offering was in reality a gift to the priests, for they received all except the “memorial” portion of it. They were to divide their own portion among themselves, and each was to receive an equal share (ch. 7:10).
