Toe het die ministers en die ‘beskermers van die ryk’ ’n rede gesoek om ’n klag teen Dani’el te vind met betrekking tot die regering, maar hulle kon geen grond vir ’n aanklag of verkeerde handeling vind nie omdat hy getrou was aan sy God en ook kon hulle geen skuld of aanklag teen hom vind nie. (DANIËL 6:4)
