The name is also given as Uzziah (vs. 13, 30, 32, 34). This shorter form is used in Chronicles (except in the genealogy of David, 1 Chron. 3:12), and in Isaiah, Hosea, Amos, and Zechariah. This is one of many examples of variant forms of names.
