To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. (Psalm 92:15)
The fact that the old age of the righteous is happy and productive proves the faithfulness of God, and shows that He keeps His promises.
The last two clauses of the verse probably depend upon the first clause of the verse, “to shew that the Lord is upright.”
