The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness. (Proverbs 11:6)

Naughtiness.
This verse emphasizes the importance of the lesson of the previous verse by repeating the thought in other words. “Naughtiness” should probably be “evil desire” (see on ch. 10:3). It is his own wicked desire that snares the evil man.
