And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead. (Leviticus 13:42)
Baldness of the head does not constitute uncleanness. But infection may take place there as well as other places, and if a spot appears, it is to be dealt with as in the other cases. The spot in this case is reddish-white, accompanied by a swelling.
