Leviticus 13:13
Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean. (Leviticus 13:13)
Pronounce him clean.
This case has caused much discussion. Two views have been held in regard to it:
 (1) Either the person did not have leprosy at all, but some harmless eruption, or
 (2) he had had leprosy and was cured.
The first of these considerations would seem to be ruled out by the statements, “the leprosy cover all the skin” (v. 12), and “the leprosy have covered all his flesh.” However, it may be that this case of “leprosy” bore only superficial resemblance to what we know as leprosy today (see Additional Note at close of chapter).
