Another of the many cities by the name which signifies “house of the sun,” showing the extent of sun worship among the earlier inhabitants of Canaan. The city was situated in the northern part of Naphtali.

Signifying “tower of God.” Situated west of the Lake Huleh district, possibly Khirbet Mejdel, near Kedesh.
