Ezekiel 9:3
And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side; (Ezekiel 9:3)
The glory.
 That is, the glory described in ch. 8:4, which was a reappearance of the vision described in ch. 1.
To the threshold.
The removal was probably to indicate that the command for judgment would proceed from the very Temple itself, which the Jews considered the pledge of their safety.
