Ezekiel 3:9
As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. (Ezekiel 3:9)
Adamant.
 Heb. shamir, “a stone of great hardness.” Some authorities think emery is meant. Shamir is translated “diamond” in Jer. 17:1. However, the diamond was unknown at that time.
