And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 15:21)

Any blemish.
 The blemishes are enumerated in Lev. 22:21-24 (see Deut. 17:1).
Lame.
 This blemish is not mentioned in Lev. 22:21-24, but Mal. 1:8 mentions the offering of a lame animal as “evil.”
Not sacrifice it.
It was not acceptable as a dedicated animal.
