And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. (Daniel 10:7)
The revelation was given only to the Lord’s chosen servant, yet the effect of the presence of a being from heaven was felt by those who were with the prophet. Compare the experience of Saul and his companions (Acts 9:3-7; 22:6-9).
