Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hephzibah. (2 Kings 21:1)

Hephzi-bah.
 Literally, “my delight is in her.” According to Jewish tradition Hephzibah was the daughter of the prophet Isaiah. No weight need be attached to this tradition. The name is later applied to Zion restored (Isa. 62:4).
