Thou sayest, (but they are but vain words,) I have counsel and strength for the war. Now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me? (2 Kings 18:20)
Strength for the war.
 Hezekiah had made extensive preparations against Assyrian attack, building up an army, strengthening the walls of Jerusalem, preparing weapons of defense and offense, and doing all that was in his power to be ready when the Assyrians would strike (2 Chron. 32:2-6).
