2 Kings 14:15
Now the rest of the acts of Jehoash which he did, and his might, and how he fought with Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel? (2 Kings 14:15)
The rest of the acts.
Verses 15, 16 interrupt the account of the reign of Amaziah, which is continued in v. 18. They contain the closing formula of Jehoash’s reign which had, however, already been given in ch. 13:12, 13. The repetition of this formula is thought by some to be an indication of a coregency of Jeroboam II with his father Jehoash (see p. 82).
