După ce a auzit aceste cuvinte şi prorocia lui Oded, prorocul, Asa s-a întărit şi a îndepărtat urâciunile din toată ţara lui Iuda şi Beniamin şi din cetăţile pe care le luase pe muntele lui Efraim şi a înnoit altarul Domnului care era înaintea pridvorului Domnului. (2 Cronici 15:8)

At nang marinig ni Asa ang mga salitang ito, at ang hula ni Obed na propeta, siya'y lumakas, at inalis ang mga karumaldumal sa buong lupain ng Juda at ng Benjamin, at sa mga bayan na kaniyang sinakop sa lupaing maburol ng Ephraim; at kaniyang binago ang dambana ng Panginoon, na nasa harap ng portiko ng Panginoon. (II Mga Cronica 15:8)

Asa bu sözleri, Peygamber Odetin oğlu Azaryanın peygamberliğini duyunca, cesaret buldu. Khi A-sa đã nghe các lời này và lời tiên tri của tiên tri Ô-đết, thì giục lòng mạnh mẽ, bèn trừ bỏ những thần tượng gớm ghiếc khỏi cả đất Giu-đa và Bên-gia-min, cùng khỏi các thành người đã đoạt lấy trên miền núi Ép-ra-im; người tu bổ lại cái bàn thờ của Ðức Giê-hô-va ở trước hiên cửa Ðức Giê-hô-va. (2 Sử-ký 15:8)
