And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon. (1 Kings 10:10)
What the queen of Sheba gave to Solomon in the way of material things was small recompense for what she received in the way of spiritual things. She gave gold, precious stones, and fragrant spices, but received in return heavenly treasures beyond the value of men.
