Heb. chamran. The name appears in Gen. 36:26 as chemda. In the consonantal Hebrew the difference is only one of a single letter, an r in Chronicles taking the place of a d in Genesis. In Hebrew these two letters are very similar, and the one may easily be mistaken for the other.
