Psalm 94

1 O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. 2 I
2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud. 4 I
3 Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5 They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.
6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7 Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8 Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? 6 I
9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? 8 I
10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. 8 I
12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law; 4 I
13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14 For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. 4 I
15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it. 2 I
16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. 4 I
18 When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. 5 I
19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. 13 I
20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22 But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. 10 I
23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off.

Exodus 40

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 10 I
2 On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. 10 I
3 And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail. 10 I
4 And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof. 10 I
5 And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle. 10 I
6 And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. 10 I
7 And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein. 10 I
8 And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate. 10 I
9 And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy. 10 I
10 And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy. 10 I
11 And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it. 10 I
12 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water. 10 I
13 And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office. 10 I
14 And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats: 10 I
15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. 10 I
16 Thus did Moses: according to all that the Lord commanded him, so did he. 11 I
17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up. 12 I
18 And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars. 10 I
19 And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the Lord commanded Moses. 12 I
20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark: 10 I
21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the Lord commanded Moses. 12 I
22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail. 10 I
23 And he set the bread in order upon it before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses. 12 I
24 And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward. 10 I
25 And he lighted the lamps before the Lord; as the Lord commanded Moses. 12 I
26 And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail: 12 I
27 And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the Lord commanded Moses. 12 I
28 And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle. 10 I
29 And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the Lord commanded Moses. 12 I
30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal. 12 I
31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat: 10 I
32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the Lord commanded Moses. 12 I
33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work. 10 I
34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 10 I
35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 10 I
36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: 10 I
37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up. 10 I
38 For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys. 14 I

Esther 7

1 So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen.
2 And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.
3 Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:
4 For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king’s damage.
5 Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?
6 And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.
7 And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.
8 Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.
9 And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.
10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.

1 Corinthians 12

1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 21 I
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 40 I
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 40 I
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 35 I
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 27 I
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 15 I
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 I
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 10 I
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 20 I
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 27 I
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 6 I
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body? 2 I
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. 2 I
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 5 I
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: 5 I
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. 5 I
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked. 3 I
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 3 I
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. 14 I
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 16 I
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 5 I
29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. 24 I
