Psalm 148

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights. 14 I
2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. 4 I
3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. 4 I
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. 4 I
5 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created. 4 I
6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:
11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. 13 I
14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

Numbers 33

50 And the Lord spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying, 10 I
51 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan; 10 I
52 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places: 10 I
53 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it. 10 I
54 And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit. 10 I
55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell. 10 I
56 Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them. 10 I

Numbers 34

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 10 I
2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:) 10 I
3 Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward: 10 I
4 And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon: 10 I
5 And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea. 10 I
6 And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border. 10 I
7 And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor: 10 I
8 From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad: 10 I
9 And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border. 10 I
10 And ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham: 10 I
11 And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward: 10 I
12 And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about. 10 I
13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the Lord commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe: 10 I
14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance: 10 I
15 The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising. 10 I
16 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 10 I
17 These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun. 10 I
18 And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance. 10 I
19 And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh. 10 I
20 And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud. 10 I
21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon. 10 I
22 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli. 10 I
23 The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod. 10 I
24 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan. 10 I
25 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach. 10 I
26 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan. 10 I
27 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi. 10 I
28 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud. 10 I
29 These are they whom the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan. 10 I

Joel 2

18 Then will the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
19 Yea, the Lord will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things. 4 I
22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. 2 I
23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. 14 I
24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. 6 I

1 Timothy 5

1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; 5 I
2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity. 3 I
3 Honour widows that are widows indeed. 2 I
4 But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God. 2 I
5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day. 3 I
6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth. 6 I
7 And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.
8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. 3 I
9 Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man.
10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work. 2 I
11 But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;
12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith. 2 I
13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
15 For some are already turned aside after Satan.
16 If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.
17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 2 I
18 For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. 2 I
19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.
20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 5 I
21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality. 4 I
22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure. 12 I
23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities. 6 I
24 Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after. 5 I
25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid. 5 I

1 Timothy 6

1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
