Psalm 112

1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 13 I
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. 14 I
5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. 8 I
6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. 7 I
7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. 11 I
8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. 10 I
10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

Leviticus 18

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 10 I
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the Lord your God. 10 I
3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances. 10 I
4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the Lord your God. 14 I
5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord. 14 I
6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord. 10 I
7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. 10 I
8 The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness. 10 I
9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover. 10 I
10 The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness. 10 I
11 The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. 10 I
12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister: she is thy father’s near kinswoman. 10 I
13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister: for she is thy mother’s near kinswoman. 10 I
14 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt. 10 I
15 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son’s wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. 10 I
16 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife: it is thy brother’s nakedness. 10 I
17 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness. 10 I
18 Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time. 10 I
19 Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness. 10 I
20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her. 10 I
21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord. 10 I
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. 10 I
23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. 10 I
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: 10 I
25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. 10 I
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you: 10 I
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) 10 I
28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you. 10 I
29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people. 10 I
30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God. 10 I

Isaiah 23

1 The burden of Tyre. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Chittim it is revealed to them.
2 Be still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished.
3 And by great waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, is her revenue; and she is a mart of nations.
4 Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins.
5 As at the report concerning Egypt, so shall they be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.
6 Pass ye over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the isle.
7 Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days? her own feet shall carry her afar off to sojourn.
8 Who hath taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honourable of the earth?
9 The Lord of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth. 2 I
10 Pass through thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.
11 He stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook the kingdoms: the Lord hath given a commandment against the merchant city, to destroy the strong holds thereof. 4 I
12 And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shalt thou have no rest.
13 Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people was not, till the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up the towers thereof, they raised up the palaces thereof; and he brought it to ruin.
14 Howl, ye ships of Tarshish: for your strength is laid waste.
15 And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot.
16 Take an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered.
17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the Lord will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.
18 And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the Lord: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the Lord, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.

Galatians 3

1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? 2 I
4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 5 I
6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 I
7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. 7 I
8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 5 I
9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. 9 I
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12 I
12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 I
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 5 I
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 5 I
15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. 2 I
16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 3 I
17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. 4 I
19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. 8 I
20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. 8 I
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 2 I
22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. 9 I
23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 5 I
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 10 I
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 2 I
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 12 I
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 19 I
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 8 I
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. 10 I
