12. The Sabbath
(Genesis 2:1) Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
(Genesis 2:2) And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
(Genesis 2:3) And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
(John 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(John 1:2) The same was in the beginning with God.
(John 1:3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
(Genesis 1:31) And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
(Mark 2:27) And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
(Mark 2:28) Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
