Nehemiah 5:1~13
Nehemiah 5:1 And there was a great cry of the people and of their wives against their brethren the Jews. MC VC
Nehemiah 5:2 For there were that said, We, our sons, and our daughters, are many: therefore we take up corn for them, that we may eat, and live. MC VC
Nehemiah 5:3 Some also there were that said, We have mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and houses, that we might buy corn, because of the dearth. MC VC
Nehemiah 5:4 There were also that said, We have borrowed money for the king’s tribute, and that upon our lands and vineyards. MC VC
Nehemiah 5:5 Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought unto bondage already: neither is it in our power to redeem them; for other men have our lands and vineyards. MC VC
Nehemiah 5:6 And I was very angry when I heard their cry and these words. MC VC
Nehemiah 5:7 Then I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said unto them, Ye exact usury, every one of his brother. And I set a great assembly against them. MC VC
Nehemiah 5:8 And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found nothing to answer. MC VC
Nehemiah 5:9 Also I said, It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies? MC VC
Nehemiah 5:10 I likewise, and my brethren, and my servants, might exact of them money and corn: I pray you, let us leave off this usury. MC VC
Nehemiah 5:11 Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the corn, the wine, and the oil, that ye exact of them. MC VC
Nehemiah 5:12 Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise. MC VC
Nehemiah 5:13 Also I shook my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise, even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, Amen, and praised the Lord. And the people did according to this promise. MC VC
Job 21:7~15
Job 21:7 Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? MC VC
Job 21:8 Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. MC VC
Job 21:9 Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. MC VC
Job 21:10 Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf. MC VC
Job 21:11 They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance. MC VC
Job 21:12 They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ. MC VC
Job 21:13 They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. MC VC
Job 21:14 Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. MC VC
Job 21:15 What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him? MC VC
Job 27:13~23
Job 27:13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty. MC VC
Job 27:14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread. MC VC
Job 27:15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep. MC VC
Job 27:16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; MC VC
Job 27:17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver. MC VC
Job 27:18 He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh. MC VC
Job 27:19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not. MC VC
Job 27:20 Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night. MC VC
Job 27:21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place. MC VC
Job 27:22 For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand. MC VC
Job 27:23 Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place. MC VC
Job 31:24~25, 28
Job 31:24 If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence; MC VC
Job 31:25 If I rejoice because my wealth was great, and because mine hand had gotten much; MC VC
Job 31:28 This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above. MC VC
Psalm 49:16~17
Psalm 49:16 Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; 2 I MC VC
Psalm 49:17 For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him. 3 I MC VC
Psalm 52:1~7
Psalm 52:1 Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. MC VC
Psalm 52:2 The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. MC VC
Psalm 52:3 Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. MC VC
Psalm 52:4 Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue. MC VC
Psalm 52:5 God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah. MC VC
Psalm 52:6 The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: MC VC
Psalm 52:7 Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness. MC VC
Psalm 73:3~22
Psalm 73:3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. MC VC
Psalm 73:4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm. MC VC
Psalm 73:5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men. MC VC
Psalm 73:6 Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. MC VC
Psalm 73:7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish. MC VC
Psalm 73:8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily. MC VC
Psalm 73:9 They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth. MC VC
Psalm 73:10 Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them. MC VC
Psalm 73:11 And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? MC VC
Psalm 73:12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. 2 I MC VC
Psalm 73:13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency. MC VC
Psalm 73:14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning. MC VC
Psalm 73:15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children. MC VC
Psalm 73:16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; MC VC
Psalm 73:17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. 2 I MC VC
Psalm 73:18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. MC VC
Psalm 73:19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. MC VC

Psalm 73:21 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. MC VC

Proverbs 14:20
Proverbs 14:20 The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends. MC VC

Ecclesiastes 5:13 There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt. MC VC
Ecclesiastes 5:14 But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand. MC VC
Ecclesiastes 5:19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God. 5 I MC VC
Ecclesiastes 5:20 For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart. MC VC
Jeremiah 5:7~9, 27~29
Jeremiah 5:7 How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses. MC VC
Jeremiah 5:8 They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour’s wife. MC VC
Jeremiah 5:9 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the Lord: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? MC VC
Jeremiah 5:27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. MC VC
Jeremiah 5:28 They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge. MC VC
Jeremiah 5:29 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? MC VC
Jeremiah 9:23
Jeremiah 9:23 Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 4 I MC VC

Jeremiah 17:11 As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool. MC VC

Jeremiah 22:16 He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the Lord. MC VC
Jeremiah 22:17 But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it. MC VC
Jeremiah 22:18 Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory! MC VC
Jeremiah 22:19 He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem. MC VC
Ezekiel 7:19
Ezekiel 7:19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity. 2 I MC VC

Amos 6:5 That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David; MC VC
Amos 6:6 That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph. MC VC
Micah 6:12
Micah 6:12 For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth. MC VC
Zephaniah 1:18

Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. MC VC
Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. MC VC
Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. MC VC
Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. MC VC
Luke 18:22~26
Luke 18:22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 5 I MC VC
Luke 18:23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. MC VC
Luke 18:24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! MC VC

1 Timothy 6:17~19

1 Timothy 6:18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 9 I MC VC
1 Timothy 6:19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. 9 I MC VC
James 1:9~11
James 1:9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: MC VC
James 1:10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. 4 I MC VC
James 1:11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways. 2 I MC VC

James 5:1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 8 I MC VC
James 5:2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. 8 I MC VC
James 5:3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. 8 I MC VC
