* Scriptures relating directly and remotely to a topic of the nature of this one, are difficult to separate accurately into sub-topics without giving space beyond reasonable limits. The plan of salvation, begun and completed, conditions of salvation, such as repentance, faith, perseverance, etc., suggest themselves in many passages, and a single verse frequently embraces a number of phases of the general subject. The author therefore has attempted only a partial analysis into sub-topics. He submits this collection of scriptures to enable the student to analyze for himself, according to the phase of the subject he may require.
