Now concerning Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe of Levi. (1 Chronicles 23:14)

Tribe of Levi.
The sons of Moses were listed as ordinary Levites and not with the priests, the sons of Aaron.
The man of God.
 This honorable appellation is found also in Deut. 33:1; Joshua 14:6; 2 Chron. 30:16; Ezra 3:2. The same appellation is also used concerning David (2 Chron. 8:14; Neh. 12:24, 36).
